Chez Panisse

During all these years living in the Bay Area, I was always somewhat curious about eating at Chez Panisse, the “House That Alice Waters Built,” but never made the effort to go. Surprisingly, it’s not difficult to got a reservation, provided you are okay with eating during the weekday and at some odd time like 9:30pm. Zero Zero

My favorite pizza restaurant in the city right now, thin-crust or otherwise – parking after 6pm is generally ample, the pizza and other food is great, the drinks are on point, and it’s a nice, industry loft space to hang out, particularly from the second floor looking down. Sushi Restaurants

Didn’t try sushi until college, but I have slowly grown to appreciate the flavor and texture of it. It all starts with a fresh and high-quality fish.

BBQ Joints

With the start of spring, and the weather and grills around the nation heating up, I thought it’d be appropriate to start a list of places with really great BBQ.
